TheFrench Room

French Decadence and Luxury/ Double Room only : 2
The room itself is large with two windows overlooking the High St reminiscent of many a small town in Burgundy. An on-suite double shower room adds a certain Parisian twist whilst the French furniture completes the room making it more of a place of relaxation than just a bedroom. The room could comfortably take three adults or it makes a perfect family room.

TheCanadian Room

Celtic Heritage/ Sleeps: 3
The room itself sits at the very top of the building in the converted attic space and is designed to feel like a waterside cabin. Two large windows give a commanding view back over the river to the new Victoria and Albert museum site and the centre of Dundee. It was from here that those whaling ships set sail many years ago. The bedroom supports a sitting area and a basic self catering kitchen zone. The on-suite shower room adds to the log cabin feel of the room, but it is overshadowed by the enormous cabin bed which itself is enhanced by a large skylight.

The Nordic room itself it set out in a very simple way, approached along its own private corridor it has separate toilet and shower rooms leading into a large triangular bedroom which looks out over one of the village kirks and up into the woodland of Berry’s Den. As you would expect of a Scandinavian room the furniture is bright and refreshing. It is based on simple, natural harmonies and is quietly secluded from the bustle of the hotel

TheScottish Room

Tweeds and Warmth/ Sleeps: 3 (with sofa bread)
This room spans the depth of the building giving views out across the river and into the High St. It is purposely a bold room with continual reference to Scottish culture without being overwhelming. The subtle tweeds and warm furniture reflects our view of how a Scottish welcome should be, gentle yet embracing. The enormous bed acts as a centre for the room
